How to Manage Multiple PMI Certifications?
PMI allows it easy for you to receive PDUs which you can use to concurrently sustain more than one certification. You can earn multiple certifications with PDUs in the following ways:
Educational PDUs:
Leadership and Strategic & Business Management PDUs Apply Across All Certifications
Because leadership and strategic & business management principles are wider educational subjects and not unique to any one certification domain area, all certifications may be extended to the PDUs stated in these fields of education.
For example, if you are completing a course that grants two leadership PDUs, you can count them on every credential you hold.
Technical PDUs Can Apply to Multiple Certifications
Education in technological skills is unique to and field of the certification domain (e.g., the technical skills needed to operate the program are different from those available for business analysis). Nevertheless, these specific issues relate to different aspects of the credential domain. When an educational activity includes specific material related to various certifications then it is appropriate to assert professional PDUs with all relevant certifications. The sum of estimated PDUs should be equivalent to the amount of time spent on such particular technological subjects.
Additionally, all received professional PDUs would be counted against retaining the PMP certification.
For e.g., if you’ve completed a 10-hour project / program management course covering various fields, the PDU breakdown will be come across as risk management (3 hours), scheduling (2 hours), business analysis / requirement management (2 hours) and agile (1 hour).

Because giving back to the professional activities is more generally relevant, all certifications should be attributed to the PDUs obtained from such activities.
